Welcome to Term 2, 2014
Light Heart Yoga Timetable and News
“To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand,
And Eternity in an hour.
William Blake’s ecstatic poem is widely quoted because it speaks to a truth that you know deep inside but usually forget. Consider for a moment, if the world is in a grain of sand, what is in you?
Yoga says you are the whole of infinity in an individualized form, and promises that you can know this by exploring within.”

April 2014 contemplation article by Swami Nirmalananda and Rukmini
Hello Sweet Yogis
I hope this message finds you well and happy after your Easter break.
How glorious is the weather?! I’m loving the change of seasons. The nights cooling down and a new freshness to the mornings. Warm days with clear blue skies. It affirms my existence to notice and appreciate the subtle change of Mother Nature or the Earth Goddess on her continued dance to Winter (all 3 weeks or so of it here in beautiful Brisbane!)
I jest of course, but this term remember to bring your socks and other warmer coverings or layers for Shavasana as it begins to cool down. That, combined with the heaters and blankets of course, will make very cosy and delicious yoga indeed. Yumm ….
IT’S ALL HAPPENING!
Term 2 is kicking off tomorrow for Tues and Sat classes.
Fri 25 April is Anzac Day so Friday class starts the following week on May 2.
Next term we will continue to have our 1st Wed of the month group meditation with special guests and events from time to time. Last term we enjoyed Kath Vanzanden from Authentic Wisdom with her divine range of essences. You can find Authentic Wisdom on Facebook if you’re into that or contact her on 0468 664 244 for more info.
Also much frivolity and great fun was had with Maureen Nash from Path of Happiness in our Laughter Yoga session. We had so much fun we forgot to take photos! Again find Path of Happiness on Facebook or call Maureen on 0409 048 431.
GANESH YANTRA PAINTING WORKSHOP
We had a wonderfully creative and inspiring Yantra painting day a few Saturdays ago.
“This is an excellent introduction to Yantra, expecially for the beginner and those with some experience.”
“Thank you very much … had a great time painting the Yantra. Absolutely delicious food.”
